Compliance
Triad HealthCare Network (THN) understands a strong compliance and ethics program is key to developing accountability and transparency. Additionally, THN understands participation in federal programs is a tremendous responsibility and is committed to following the best practices and guidance from the United States Sentencing Commission and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
It is THN’s policy to comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. In addition, it is the policy to follow the Code of Conduct reviewed and approved by the Board of Managers, the Chief Administrative Officer of the company, and by the Corporate Compliance and Integrity Committee.
THN’s Board of Manager’s adopted its compliance and integrity program in 2016. It is an integral part of THN’s business operations and practices. THN’s Compliance Officer provides reports concerning this program to the Board of Managers.
Our compliance program is designed to educate all of THN’s Board of Managers, employees, ACO Participants, ACO Providers/Suppliers and others acting on behalf of THN, hereafter known as the “workforce,” on ethical behavior in the workplace; on the applicable THN policies, legal requirements including federal and state laws and regulations, their related accreditation requirements; raise awareness of questionable conduct; and monitor compliance; and provide effective mechanisms for reporting suspected violations.
THN’s Accountable Care Organization (ACO) Compliance Plan (Plan) is part of the Program. The Plan aligns to CMS requirements. (42 CFR §§ 425). This Plan may be supplemented by the parent Company (Cone Health) policies and procedures as needed.
Anonymous Reporting Helpline
THN has a system in place to receive, record, respond to and track compliance questions or reports of suspected or detected noncompliance or potential FWA from its workforce. The Compliance & Privacy Helpline is available 24 hours a day.
Reporting systems maintain confidentiality (to the greatest extent possible), allow anonymity if desired (e.g., through telephone helplines or mail drops) and emphasize THN’s policy of non-intimidation and non-retaliation for good faith reporting of compliance concerns and participation in the compliance program.
Call the Compliance & Privacy helpline to file a compliance report at 1-855-809-3042.
